A short report documenting the recent Implementation Workshop for Children and Young People’s Services Committees is now available. 50+ individuals from 21 local CYPSC were amongst those who participated in the event; taking time out from busy schedules to collectively consider Implementation Science and its application in interagency working.
The Department of Health has a National Lottery Discretionary fund in place which provides once off grants to organisations providing a range of health related services.
The National Co-ordinator for Children and Young People’s Services Committees has been working closely with education partners to strengthen connections between CYPSC and the education sector and to increase participation by education stakeholders in interagency work. A Children and Young People's Services Committees Implementation Workshop is being held by the Centre for Effective Services (CES) on 11th February 2015. The Workshop will hear from practitioners with national and international expertise in Implementation Science including Allison Metz, PhD, Director of the National Implementation Research Network, USA.
Limerick Children and Young People's Services Committee, Start Right Limerick and Parenting Limerick launched the www.loveparenting.ie website and the Start Right case studies on Friday 23rd January from 11.30am - 1.30pm in Thomond Park. Minister for Education and Skills Jan O'Sullivan TD attended the event and officially launched the website and case studies.
