Early School Leaving Group

An information sharing network, with some specific collaborative actions relating to early school leaving prevention such as the Junior Transition Programme, iScoil e-learning hub and data collection.
Kildare Children and Young People's Services Committee have established one new Sub-Group: the Early School Leaving Group. In addition to the new Sub-Group, Kildare Children and Young People's Services Committee developed links with some existing groups i.e. Youth Mental Health Group and the Kildare West Wicklow Parenting Training & Support Forum.
Youth Mental Health Group

National Outcome: Active & healthy, physical and mental wellbeing
An information sharing network, with some specific collaborative actions relating to youth mental health such as supporting the local implementation of the national mental health promotion campaign.
Kildare West Wicklow Parenting Training & Support Forum
Chair: Gary Collins, Primary Care Psychologist, Health Service Executive

An information sharing network, with some specific collaborative actions relating to parenting support and training such as the parentingsupport.ie website, information resource for parent& toddler groups and the development of a parenting strategy.
