This  sub-group provides oversight ans support on the implementation of all Outcome 1: Active and Healthy priorities and associated actions within the Limerick CYPSC Children and Young People's Plan, 2021 - 2023. This sub-group also provides oversight on the Healthy Ireland Fund programme of work.

Child and Youth Mental Health sub-group

The Limerick Child and Youth Mental Health Sub-group supports the coordination and development of child and youth mental health services in Limerick and works together to  enhance how the public, private and voluntary and community sectors work together to deliver integrated, high quality mental health services.

Parenting Limerick

Chair: David Studer (Limerick CYPSC)

Parenting Limerick is a network of organisations that provide parenting and family support in Limerick City. The network is working together to provide parents with information and support appropriate to their needs and to develop an integrated approach to the provision of parenting supports. 

Membership:

This sub-group has a large membership, reflecting the role that many services have in parenting and family support. 


Outcome 4: Economic Security and Opportunity

A sub-group is currently in the process of being formed to reflect the new priorities identified by Limerick CYPSC in its current Children and Young People's Plan.

Outcome 5: Connected, Respected and Contributing

This  sub-group provides oversight and support on the implementation of all Outcome 5: Connected, Respected and Contributing to their World  priorities and associated actions within the Limerick CYPSC Children and Young People's Plan, 2021 - 2023.

Membership:

This group will be meeting for the first time under the current Children and Young People's Plan in September 2022. The membership is currently being finalised.

Research and Learning

Chair: David Studer, Limerick CYPSC Coordinator

The Research and Learning Sub-group works to provide research  and evaluation expertise and advice to the Children and Young People's Services Committee, to keep the CYPSC informed of key pieces of research and their implications for policy and practice and to advise the CYPSC on issues for future research.
