
Domestic, sexual, gender-based violence (DSGBV) has a detrimental effect on the emotional, financial, physical, and social wellbeing of families and children. In this section you will find links to all of the local CYPSC resources that have been collaboratively developed to support professionals’ who are working with children and families who are experiencing or have experienced DSGBV. Some helpful publications on projects being delivered by DSGBV services around the country is also provided. In some instances, local CYPSC have produced their localised resources building on the work of another CYPSC. In these circumstances the resources were shared between a number of CYPSC areas and then a toolkit, customised for the particular CYPSC area, was developed.

CARLOW CYPSC
Carlow CYPSC in partnership with the Local Area Domestic Abuse Action Network produced Enough is Enough Stop Domestic Abuse. The resource pack is designed to provide professionals who are working with children, young people and families experiencing domestic violence information on the relevant services and resources available in Carlow.

CAVAN CYPSC
Cavan CYPSC and Monaghan CYPSC jointly developed the Shine Series of resources to support children and young people to explore and manage their emotions while learning about healthy relationships, boundaries, and staying safe. A Healthy Relationships Guide for Young Children under 8 years, for Young Children 8-12yrs and for Young People are designed for use by facilitators working with children and young people who have completed domestic violence and children first training.

CORK CYPSC
Cork CYPSC Safe and Protected Subgroup was set up to highlight needs, gaps and solutions in relation to keeping children, young people and families safe and protected. Cork TLC KIDZ Programme is a community coordinated response for children and mothers in recovery from domestic violence. The Programme is run over 12 weeks and is available to children and young people aged between 5-17 years and their mothers. The children and young people’s and the mother’s groups run concurrently on the same week.
West Cork Beacon formerly known as West Cork Women Against Violence is a DSGBV service located in West Cork. In 2022 the Listen to me. Support me. Believe me. Help me research report was launched. This report built on the findings of previous research conducted by West Cork Beacon and details plans for the development of a new sexual violence project in West Cork. DONEGAL CYPSC
Donegal CYPSC with a number of interagency partners produced the Donegal Domestic Abuse Resource Pack as a support for professionals working in frontline services who encounter victims of domestic violence. The pack details the statutory, community and voluntary services located in Donegal who offer advice, information, intervention and safe accommodation.

TLC Kidz Programme is run over 12 weeks in Donegal during school terms for children and young people aged between 5 to 16 years; in appropriate age groups depending and on available resources . The children and young people's and mothers’ groups run concurrently. The aim is to support women on how to best help their child in healing from the impact of abuse.
