Covid-19 Response: IT Recycling Initiative

With the establishment of the tech2students initiative in the county, Galway CYPSC is no longer accepting donations of laptops or distributing re-purposed laptops. Instead, we encourage people to donate unwanted laptops to the tech2students initiative by dropping them into the the Galway Chamber offices in Commerce House, Merchant’s Road, every Tuesday from 9.30am to 4pm.

For more information, to donate, or to request laptops, people can email tech2students@nuigalway.ie

Supporting Transitions

Moving from preschool to ‘big school’ is an important, exciting but often stressful and daunting transition for young children and their parents.  To ease potential difficulties and to promote a more successful and smooth transition between preschool and primary school, it is vital that there is partnership between both settings and that a system for transferring information is in place.
