Galway CYPSC and Galway Healthy City are leading a new campaign aimed at creating smoke free environments for children and young people in Galway City and County. The ‘Not Around Us / Coinnigh Uainn É’ initiative aims to stop children from regarding smoking as a normal behaviour by moving smoking away from those places where children and young people are likely to be.
Not Around Us / Coinnigh Uainn É signage will be made available free of charge to interested not for profit groups or organisations, schools, and early years services. Interested services and organisations should go to healthygalwaycity.ie/tobacco-free to get more information and to download the Expression of Interest form.
