The Children and Young People's Plan of Dublin City North CYPSC is now available.

This plan represents the culmination of community consultations, development of a socio-demographic and economic profile, audit of services, needs analysis and specific focussed research by Dublin City North CYPSC.

CYPSC Chairperson Joy McGlynn notes that

"Dublin City North is a vibrant, active and diverse community. Home to over ninety-five thousand children and young people, the area is characterised by wide ranging contrasts of poverty and affluence, ethnicity, and services provision.

Many children and young people are thriving in their neighbourhood, school, and with family, despite sometimes very challenging circumstances. Some children and young people, however, need better and more intensive support to be able to reach their full potential.

For these reasons the plan sets out an ambitious, yet achievable set of objectives and actions which will aim to improve the lives and outcomes for children and young people at all levels of need, living in Dublin City North."
