The CYPSC National Steering Group met three times in 2015. This year was focussed on group formation and began the process of developing a work plan for 2016 into 2017.
A lively, planning workshop was held by the Steering Group in December to enable all members to get up to speed with CYPSC implementation and to discuss the range of challenges experienced by local CYPSC.
The Steering Group has now moved into a prioritisation phase and action planning with a view to responding to local CYPSC expressed need. Ultimately the Steering Group aims to increase awareness of and effectiveness of CYPSC as the county-level inter-agency forum where all service providers wishing to improve outcomes for children and young people can meet together and work together.
