A three-year Children and Young People’s Plan 2017 to 2019 has been developed and is being implemented by the Sligo Leitrim CYPSC.
The plan was formally launched at an event in Sligo on Thursday 30th November 2017 and aims to improve outcomes for children and young people in Sligo and Leitrim.
Gerry Hone, Sligo Leitrim CYPSC Chairperson and Area Manager at TUSLA - Child and Family Agency notes that
"The establishment of the Sligo Leitrim CYPSC provides an opportunity for all service providers to share strategic objectives and agree priorities for improving outcomes for the children and families of our region.
In increasing our understanding of the needs of our children, the opportunity to jointly plan and target interventions will assist the region in moving forward in a collaborative manner and help to align all our efforts in achieving this shared vision."
