‘On the right track’ is a new series of reports based on evaluation findings of programmes for children and young people in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The reports present summaries of the learning from the Prevention and Early Intervention Initiative. This initiative involved a significant investment from the Atlantic Philanthropies together with the Government from 2004 to 2016. The programmes aimed to improve outcomes for children in areas such as Child Behaviour, Parenting, Children’s Learning, and Child Health.

The reports will be of interest to commissioners and providers who are planning and delivering services for children and young people.

Four summaries are now available. They outline some key messages, describe some of the features of effective programmes, and set out the learning from implementation in an Ireland and Northern Ireland context. Longer reports which informed the summaries are also available.
