An informative video on integrated systems and effective transitions in early childhood has been produced by the King Badouin Foundation following the fifth Transatlantic Forum on Inclusive Early Years (TFIEY) meeting entitled 'Integrated Systems for Children and Families – Continuity and Alignment of Services'.

The video produced on behalf of the Forum can be viewed below.

The King Baudouin Foundation, together with partner foundations from Europe and the United States, created the Transatlantic Forum on Inclusive Early Years. The Forum brings together high-level policymakers and decision-makers to explore policies and projects supporting the early childhood development of children from migrant and low-income families.

The fifth meeting of the Forum was held on the 26th - 28th January 2015 and focussed on the issue of integrating early childhood systems and services and continuity among services to better serve families from a low-income or migrant background.

The aim of the event was to learn about ways in which programmes, systems and countries have sought to implement innovative strategies of integration and alignment across services in the early years, and to learn about potential barriers and obstacles to implementation and how they may be overcome.

Colma Nic Lughadha, National Co-ordinator for Children and Young People's Services Committees presented at this event. The presentation can be found under 'Conference and Workshop Presentations' in the Resources section of this website.
