11. Child friendly family justice resources

These resources are aimed at children aged 8-12 years who are experiencing family change such as separation or divorce, or whose parents are navigating the family courts system. The resources are an important part of the ongoing reform of the family justice system in Ireland, and they fulfil a key action in the Family Justice Strategy 2022-2025.

14. Non Violent Resistance (NVR)

Many parents are fearful in their own homes because of aggressive, abusive, controlling and sometimes violent behaviours directed at them by their own children. Parentline has had a dramatic increase in requests for its Non Violent Resistance programme over the past three years. Parentline offers parents the support and practical skills to help deal with these situations.

In order to support the work of the 5 Dublin-based CYPSC, South Dublin; Dublin City South; Dublin City North; Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and Fingal CYPSC, the Dublin CYPSC Directory was developed.  It centralises information on supports and services for children, young people, families and support services in the greater Dublin area. The directory aims to provide up-to-date information on services operating in the whole of the county of Dublin.  Services can be identified through accessible search tools including by category, by area or on a map of services.
